THE VILLAGE

Biron is a small, peaceful village, but you can still find plenty to do in the summer months in the local area. Whether it's visiting the weekly evening food markets in the square, enjoying the delicious local cuisine at the local restaurant, or simply sipping a coffee in the cafe, there is something for all tastes.

The chateau is a spectacular attraction in its own right, with fantastic art exhibitions all year round, and a craft market in the summer. The château also hosts a music festival in August.
​
The nearby vineyard offers guided tours and tastings, with it's delightful range of organic wines that reflect the uniqueness of Biron.

There is a local shop where you can pick up your daily baguettes and croissants, as well as all the usual supplies.

There are also many other events, markets, music and activities in the nearby towns of Soulaures, La Capelle Biron, Monpazier, Villereal, and Monflanquin.
